Bourbon Barrel Stools

We ordered 3 of the bourbon barrel bar stools for our downstairs bar area. We love the look and sit of the stools. The quality of the stools is very good and they are quite sturdy. Sorry no pictures computer and cell phone both were having attitudes and wouldn't talk to each other.
A word to the wise. If you are buying any I would recommend that you let them sit in the garage for a week or so as the whiskey smell is quite strong at first as to be expected from stools made from whiskey barrels. The charring/black color on the legs does rub off on both your hands and clothes. I did one coat of polyurethane to seal them which has stopped this. The polyurethane has also helped with the smell reduction and should keep the stools from drying out too much with recommend waxing or some type or preservative on a regular basis to keep the wood conditioned.

Absolutely love our stools! My partner's a scotch drinker so we had three of his favorite labels put on the top. They did a great job and we got them very quickly. Couldn't be happier!
